Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening solutions are for those who have stained, dull or discolored teeth. The main causes of stained teeth are genetics, antibiotics, tobacco and certain foods. As we age, our teeth darken as well. Your dentist will explore different whitening options to achieve your desired results. (S)he will evaluate your smile and ensure that your teeth and gums are healthy enough for whitening. Tooth whitening enhances the brightness of natural teeth but it’s not for everyone. In addition to discolored teeth, you may consider this service if you have:

The lifespan of whitened teeth can range from 4-12 months, depending on the type of treatment used and your consumption of food and drink that can easily stain teeth (such as berries, coffee, and tea). The Dental Veneer Treatment Experience

  • Apply a local anesthetic to the affected area of your mouth
  • Remove a small amount of enamel from the front of your tooth to make place for the veneer
  • Clean and polish the tooth’s front surface
  • Bond the veneer in place to permanently affix it
  • Expose the veneer to special hand-held light to harden the repaired surface of your tooth

Bonding

Bonding is the application of tooth-colored composite resin to enhance the appearance of your smile. It can be used:
  • To correct cracks or gaps in teeth
  • To cover up stains or discolored teeth
  • As a filling after a cavity has been removed
First, the doctor will choose a shade of composite resin that will match and enhance your smile. Then the composite resin will be applied and sculpted over your tooth. After the resin has been applied, an LED light is used to harden the resin. It will then be polished. Results are achieved immediately and can subtly or drastically change the appearance of your smile. Bonding is a safe, affordable and aesthetically pleasing solution for many dental problems.

Invisalign aligners are a clear solution to fixing crooked teeth. These custom clear trays are virtually undetectable when worn and can be removed to eat, brush, and floss normally.
