Originally from Baghdad, Iraq, Dr. Fadia Hanna moved to the United States at the age of 15. Her journey in dentistry is rooted in a passion for transforming smiles and alleviating pain. Excelling academically, she graduated with honors from Wayne State University and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dedicated to giving back, Dr. Hanna has participated in local dental outreach programs, serving underprivileged communities with compassion and care.

Dr. Hanna is a highly skilled dental professional with a special interest in Endodontics and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Kadie Koolwick, DDS

Personal and Professional History

Dr. Kadie Koolwick grew up in Bloomfield Hills, where she attended Lahser High School. Pursuing her passion for dentistry, she embarked on her academic journey at Albion College, where she not only excelled academically but also showcased her skills on the lacrosse field.

Continuing her pursuit of excellence, Dr. Kadie Koolwick further honed her dental expertise at the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School. Today, she stands as a proud member of esteemed dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, American Academy of Clear Aligners, and the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics.

Dr. Hunter Atchoo, DDS

Dr. Hunter Atchoo, a compassionate and dedicated dentist renowned for his gentle demeanor and patient-centric approach, embarked on his journey in dentistry at the esteemed University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Zainab Mackie, DDS

Professional History

Dr. Zainab Mackie’s passion for Dentistry started at her uncle’s practice where she would spend her summers there learning about how to actively help patients achieve their oral health and esthetic goals. Dr. Mackie earned her dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. After dental school she became Invisalign certified and completed a 2-year orthodontics program (Progressive Orthodontic Seminars). Dr. Mackie is passionate about providing quality care to her patients. She is committed to advancing her skills by attending continuing education seminars throughout the year. Dr. Mackie is active in local Spear Study club and Seattle Study club where she meets regularly with local dental specialists to discuss complex dental cases.

Dr. Adam El-mallah, DDS

Professional History

Dr. El-Mallah grew up in Metro Detroit, coming from a family of dentists and physicians where the value of education and healthcare was instilled from a young age. His passion for community service and aiding underserved populations was evident early on. He began his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University, majoring in biological sciences. During his time there, he was involved in an ecological laboratory that conducted the landmark zebra mussel study of the Detroit River.

Education

Upon completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. El-Mallah matriculated into the Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He placed a significant emphasis on community work during his studies, rotating at numerous federally qualified health centers in both rural and suburban areas of northern and central Michigan.

Personal Background

Dr. El-Mallah is deeply committed to patient education and engagement, ensuring that each individual receives a clear and comprehensive treatment plan. These plans are designed to be easily visualized, personally relevant, thoroughly understood, and openly discussed, allowing patients to embark on their transformative journeys with confidence. In his free time, Dr. El-Mallah enjoys spending time with his family, including his eight nieces and nephews and his twin brother. He also enjoys running and is currently training for his first marathon.

Dr. Ali Raza Syed, DDS

Dr. Syed brings in extensive clinical experience, with a career spanning over 15 years in the realm of dentistry. As a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, he ardently believes that the oral cavity serves as a gateway to both health and disease. Consequently, he dedicates himself to enhancing the oral well-being of his patients, aiming to elevate their overall quality of life. Having earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Pakistan in 2007, Dr. Syed honed his skills through 11 years of practice before relocating to the U.S. In 2021, he successfully attained his DDS degree from the University of Michigan. Remarkably, he stands as one of the very few dentists nationwide bestowed with Diplomate and Fellow status by the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Syed remains at the forefront of dental advancements, actively engaging with the latest trends in the field. He is a devoted member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, ITI (International Team of Implantology) and ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists).

Dr. Ali Zeitoun, DDS

Education
Dr. Ali Zeitoun, DDS, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. He also obtained his Orthodontic Certificate and MBA from Roseman University. Dr. Zeitoun commenced his career as a general dentist, specializing in the treatment of children and adolescents. Observing the benefits of interceptive dental care, in enhancing jaw development before the eruption of all adult teeth, he was inspired to further his studies in orthodontia. Dr. Zeitoun is passionate about providing patients with treatment options that avoid extractions, awkward headgear, or traditional brackets and wires, opting for Invisalign instead.

Experience
Dr. Zeitoun is a proud member of the Michigan Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Additionally, he is a certified Invisalign provider, enabling him to offer his services to both young and older patients seeking smile enhancement. Dr. Zeitoun is fluent in both English and Arabic.

Outside the Office
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Zeitoun enjoys spending quality time with his extended family. Each niece and nephew receive special attention during his non-working hours. His hobbies include hiking, biking, and photography.

Dr. Matthew Milevski, DSS

Dr. Mathew Milevski practices in Redwood Dental’s Troy, MI office. Even at a young age Dr. Milevski had an interest in the field on dentistry and continues to learn more about it everyday.

Education:

Graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Dr. Miilevski then earned his DDS degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

Personal Background:

When Dr. Milevski is not in the office he’s usually outside enjoying the weather while playing golf or tennis. During the winter he enjoys going up north to spend time with family and friends on the mountains.

Dr. Valerie Esho, DDS

Dr. Valerie Esho enjoys the science and art of dentistry. She loves helping patients create their perfect smiles while maintaining good oral health. Dr. Esho is a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.

Education

Dr. Esho achieved her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Michigan State University. Afterward, she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan.

Personal Background

In her free time, Dr. Esho enjoys going on hikes with her dog and spending time with friends and family. On Saturdays in the fall, you can catch Dr. Esho cheering on both the Spartans and the Wolverines!

Dr. Michael Fouad, DDS

Dr. Michael Fouad was driven to become a dentist to help as many people as possible regain confidence in their smiles as well as promote their oral health. He believes in the power of the smile and wants to help as many people as possible. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Fouad graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) with a B.S. in Biology. He continued his journey and education with UDM and went to their School of Dentistry, where he achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his time at UDM Dental, he received multiple awards, including Dr. Ahmed Sarhan’s Certificate of Excellence in Endodontics as well as a Student Researcher award.

Personal Background

In his free time, Dr. Fouad enjoys spending time mountain biking, reading philosophy, and gaming, and traveling. He also loves to spend time with his friends and family.

Dr. Neha Bhardwaj, DDS

Professional History

Dr. Neha Bhardwaj has over 10 years of experience in the field of dentistry. Dr. Bhardwaj has been working in the metro-Detroit area since 2015. She strongly believes in evidence based and ethical dentistry and would strive for the patients to have a relaxed and a pain-free dental experience.

Dr. Bhardwaj graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India in 2010. Additionally, she completed her DDS degree from New York University in 2015. Dr. Bhardwaj has been living with her family in Rochester since 2016. She has two daughters. In her free time she enjoys helping her husband with home improvement projects, hiking, traveling and trying new foods in the kitchen.

Dr. Jerry Kirk, DDS

Outside of the office, Dr. Kirk enjoys a balanced life, engaging family, career, and faith. He strives for the best possible outcomes in his practice of dentistry.

Dr. James Putz, DDS

Dr. James Putz has been a dentist for over 30 years. Born and raised in Saginaw, MI, he has been living in Southeastern Michigan for almost 40 years. His favorite thing about being a dentist is making patients smile.

Dr. Putz received his B.S. and D.D.S. degrees from the University of Michigan.

Personal Background

Dr. Putz has three grown children and lives with his wife and pets. Outside of the office, he enjoys music, playing and collecting guitars, landscaping, and going on walks with his dog. He’s also a big fan of U of M sports.

Dr. Aditi Patel, DMD

Dr. Aditi Patel enjoys the personal aspect of dentistry where she can get to know her patients while working with them and improving their oral health. She also likes working with her hands. Dr. Patel is a member of both the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association.

Education

After graduating from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Human Biology, Dr. Patel went on to complete her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania.

Personal Background

When not helping patients, Dr. Patel enjoys music and hiking with her two dogs (as long as it’s warm!). She also loves spending time with her friends and family and watching college football.

Dr. Liana Pryde, DDS

Professional History

Dr. Liana Pryde operates out of the Redwood Dental office in Troy. Since a very young age, she has been interested in the field of science and has had a desire to serve the community. She most enjoys Restorative Dentistry and Endodontic Procedures.

Education

Dr. Liana Pryde got her first DDS at the Autonomous University of Manizales in Colombia and then studied at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Personal Background

In her free time, Dr. Pryde enjoys exercising and scrapbooking. Married to her High School sweetheart, Dr. Pryde and her husband have two children who are in the Troy school system. They keep busy with band activities and as a family, they spend time in their local church in different ministries. Dr. Pryde has had the opportunity to provide free dental care for needy families in the community. She has also worked with organizations in other countries to take care of children with cleft lip and palate. In addition, Dr. Pryde has participated in Operation Christmas Child every year through Samaritan’s Purse Ministry.

Dr. Eric McCutcheon, DDS

Professional History

Dr. Eric McCutcheon, practices at the Redwood Dental office in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Dr. McCutcheon has always had an interest in the medical field. While researching careers during college, he found that dentistry offered him the opportunity for a challenging career that allowed him to help people, while giving him time to have a full home life away from the office. Furthermore, he has numerous areas of interest in the dental field and has consequently pursued a continuing education in endodontics (root canals), implants and Invisalign. He has grown to appreciate the necessity of putting the teeth in their proper position before problems begin. Dr. McCutcheon is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Macomb County and Michigan Dental Associations, and has worked at Redwood Dental since 2006.

Dr. Eric McCutcheon’s obtained his Undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts in History of Art) from the University of Michigan and then went on to earn his DDS from the University of Detroit, Mercy in 2004

Personal Background

Dr. Eric McCutcheon’s hobbies include long distance running (especially half marathons), reading fiction and historical non-fiction and attending Michigan football games with his family. Dr. McCutcheon and his beautiful wife, Meredith, have been married since 2000 and have a son, Jack, and a daughter named Sadie. He enjoys volunteering at his kids’ school, giving presentations about art history every spring. Additionally, he has spent time in preschools in the Grossepointe/St. Clair Shores area talking about healthy dental habits.

Dr. Randall Schmitt

He Attended University of Detroit School of Dentistry. He received his Periodontal training at the Mayo Clinic.

Personal Background

He is a semi active jogger and biker. He enjoys live music and babysitting his Granddaughter as well as hosting family dinners.

Dr. Nicole Meadows, DDS

Professional History

Dr. Meadows has been practicing for over 35 years. She is partial to the specialties of Endodontics and Periodontics. She enjoys helping patients regain a healthy smile. Dr. Meadows is a proud member of the Michigan Dental Association, as well as the American Association and the Oakland County Dental Society.

Education

Dr. Nicole Meadows attended Western Michigan University and received her DDS from the University of Detroit Mercy. She went on to earn her MSBA at Madonna University.

Personal Background

Dr. Meadows has a daughter who is studying to be a nurse practitioner at Georgetown University and a son who is a wealth management associate in Nashville. She keeps herself busy with two cats and three dogs and traveling to see her children. She and her husband enjoy boating and surfing.

Dr. Rasha Gagi, DMD

Dr Rasha Gagi received her D.M.D degree from the prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with Honors in Clinical Dentistry.

Dr. Steven D. Hane, DDS

Professional History

Dr. Hane served as a dentist in the US Navy from 2001-2003, where he was a division officer aboard the USS John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Dr. Hane has received sedation training from DOCS (The Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation) and ASDA (American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists). His special interests include cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry and he provides cosmetic orthodontics including Six Month Smiles, ClearCorrect and Invisalign. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, he is committed to continuing education and providing exceptional cutting-edge dentistry.

Dr. Hussain Arbab, BDS, MSD

Dr. Arbab is married to his wife Khadija and they have a 6 year old and 4 year old at home. In his free time, he enjoys running, spending time with his kids, trying new foods, and watching football.

Dr. Brian Schmitz, DDS

Dr. Brian Schmitz practices in the Redwood Dental office in Warren, MI. He enjoys dentistry because of the personal interaction with patients and loves how dynamic dentistry is. Dr. Mark Bouchillon, DDS

Dr. Bouchillon is one of the founders of Redwood Dental. Dr. Bouchillon has completed more than 2,000 hours of continuing education. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but focuses mostly on changing patients smiles through cosmetic dentistry. Changing a person’s smile changes their outlook on life.

He attended the University of Michigan for both his undergraduate degree and dental school.

Personal Background

In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and his 3 boys. Some of his favorite activities are working out, traveling and coaching his 3 sons.

Dr. Dave Mudan, DMD

Dr. Dave is a seasoned dentist with a distinguished career spanning over two decades. His journey began in India, where he earned his BDS in 2004 and honed his skills in private practice. In 2010, he pursued research in oral cancer at Barts and London School of Medicine and Dentistry in the UK. He further advanced his expertise at Tufts University Dental School in Boston, MA in 2015. Since 2019, he has been an integral part of the Redwood Dental family.

When he’s not busy caring for his patients, Dr. Dave enjoys an active lifestyle outside of the office. A resident of Shelby Township, he shares his life with his loving wife and their two energetic Siberian huskies, Saviour and Spirit. Together, they love exploring the beautiful trails of northern Michigan, where they hike and trail run, taking in the breathtaking scenery.

Dr. Lindsay Smith, DDS

Dr. Smith enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially the variety of procedures throughout her day. To facilitate her growth and patient care, she prioritizes continuing education and has additional training in Lumineers, Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry, root canals, bone grafts, implants, and more! She strives to expand her knowledge and the services she can provide to her patients in order to achieve optimal oral health and create the smile they deserve. Her main objective is to create a comfortable environment for her patients, focusing on trust and honesty. Dr. Smith prides herself on building genuine relationships with her patients; she enjoys watching families expand, children grow, and celebrating accomplishments with them!

Dr. Amy Wendling, DDS

What drew Dr. Amy Wendling to dentistry, first and foremost, is helping people. She provides the highest level of care and absolutely loves forming long term relationships with her patients and their families. Dr. Wendling enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but finds it especially gratifying to relieve a patient of their pain or help an anxious patient get through a procedure.

Dr. Amy Wendling earned her BS/DDS degrees at the University of Detroit Mercy within 6 years through an accelerated program.

Personal Background

In her spare time, she is an avid long-distance runner and enjoys baking, traveling, and attending a wide variety of concerts. Dr. Wendling has been married to her husband, Jon, since 2009, and together they have five children. Dr. Wendling has been involved in overseas dental missions in the past and is active in her church.

Dr. Sami Maassarani, DDS

Dr. Maassarani became a dentist in order to help make people feel better about their smiles. He loves the art of dentistry. He believes that a beautiful smile can cultivate a health and confident lifestyle.

Dr. Michael Jack, DDS

Professional History

Dr. Michael Jack practices in Redwood Dental’s Troy, MI office. His genuine love of people, as well as his joy in getting to know patients is what initially drew him to the field of dentistry. He loves to see a life changed and renewed confidence when he is able to improve someone’s bite and smile. It’s no surprise how much he enjoys cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Jack is a proud member of the ADA, AGD, MDA and the Christian Dental Association and is the recipient of the 2001 American Academy of Endodontics Award.

Dr. Jack’s education began by graduating from Troy Athens High School and then he went on to Oakland University, where he graduated with an Undergraduate Degree in Biology. Dr. Jack then earned his DDS from the University of Detroit.

Personal Background

His favorite after-hours pastimes include spending time with his children, being active at his church and coaching basketball. Additionally, he teaches 4th and 5th grade Sunday school, and serves at both the Pontiac Dream Center, as well as the Oasis Middle School Ministry.

Dr. Yousif Gagi, DMD, BDS

Dr. Gagi has been providing dental care for over 10 years and believes that dentistry goes beyond the teeth. He is dedicated to improving his patients’ lives and bringing back their confidence through their oral health. Not only has he practiced in the United States, he has also practiced in Europe and Asia and is fluent in four languages. Dr. Landon Ouzts, DDS

Dr. Landon Ouzts practices in Redwood Dental’s Davison office. His passion of helping people and enjoyment of putting smiles on people’s faces is what lead him to dentistry. Dr. Ouzts loves using his skills to restore people’s happiness and confidence in their smile, while educating them on their oral health. He is a member of the ADA and MDA.

Dr. Ouzts graduated from Carman Ainsworth High School before attending Michigan State University for his undergraduate degree. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Detroit.

Dr. Ouzts lives in the Flushing area with his wife and three kids. Outside of the office, his enjoyment includes exercise, travel, sports, spending time with family and friends, and his new acquired hobby of saltwater aquariums. He loves outdoor activities during the winter.

Dr. Mays Tokatly, DDS

Dr. Tokatly is a general dentist in Canton with over 10 years of experience. Throughout her journey she has provided the most optimal oral care for her patients, in the various dental disciplines such as restorative, prosthodontics, periodontics, and endodontic. She has been a member with the American Dental Association ADA , the Academy of General Dentistry AGD and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry AAID. She truly enjoys making a difference in people’s lives; building relationships with her patients and their families, as it brings deeper meaning to her career and her patients’ care.

Dr. Tokatly wanted to be a dentist since she was in high school; she was inspired by a few dentists in her family. She attended Wayne State University in Detroit to earn Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, and then earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2008. Then she went to further her education in the dental implant field, she attended a full year of the MAXI course in 2013 and obtained an associate membership and fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry AAID as well as certification in the International Congress of Oral Impantology ICOA. She remains up-to-date on the latest technologies through continued education courses and by attending dental conferences throughout the country.

Outside of the dental practice, Dr. Tokatly enjoys time with her family, friends, and church community. She likes to play Tennis and Volleyball for fun. She enjoys traveling within and outside the country.

Dr. Tae-Ju Oh, DDS, MS

Dr. Tae-Ju Oh operates out of the Redwood Dental office in Canton. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Oh is also Co-Director of the Implant Program for University of Michigan Dental students.

Dr. Tae-Ju Oh is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he also received his advanced training in Periodontics.

Other than spending time with his wife and three children, Dr. Oh enjoys golfing, singing and reading. He strives for the best in the clinic, in his family life and in the societies to which he belongs.

Dr. Wei Yao, DDS

Dr. Yao practiced as an orthodontist in China and was a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists. Today, she passions as a general dentist to provide comprehensive dental care. With more than 10 years of professional experience in general dentistry and orthodontics, Dr. Yao is dedicated to improve individual’s quality of life as well as self-confidence. She also enjoys giving back to the community by programs like Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile. To pursue excellence and provide better services, Dr. Yao keeps improving herself through study club and various CE courses. She is currently a member of American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Yao received her first dental degree in 2003 and a master’s degree in orthodontics in 2007 in China. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with a D.D.S. degree.

As a mother of two boys, she loves to spend time with family. She also enjoys music, reading, travel, and foods. She appreciates every aspect of life.
