Professional History
Dr. El-Mallah grew up in Metro Detroit, coming from a family of dentists and physicians where the value of education and healthcare was instilled from a young age. His passion for community service and aiding underserved populations was evident early on. He began his undergraduate studies at Wayne State University, majoring in biological sciences. During his time there, he was involved in an ecological laboratory that conducted the landmark zebra mussel study of the Detroit River.
Education
Upon completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. El-Mallah matriculated into the Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. He placed a significant emphasis on community work during his studies, rotating at numerous federally qualified health centers in both rural and suburban areas of northern and central Michigan.

Dr. El-Mallah is deeply committed to patient education and engagement, ensuring that each individual receives a clear and comprehensive treatment plan. These plans are designed to be easily visualized, personally relevant, thoroughly understood, and openly discussed, allowing patients to embark on their transformative journeys with confidence. In his free time, Dr. El-Mallah enjoys spending time with his family, including his eight nieces and nephews and his twin brother.
