Shilpa Kolhatkar, DDS

Dr. Shilpa Kolhatkar is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and has completed a post doctoral fellowship in Periodontics and Implantology. Dr. Kolhatkar received her certificate in Periodontics from Indiana University. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Kolhatkar has a special interest in esthetic and plastic periodontal procedures. She has lectured extensively on various periodontal topics and has conducted CE courses on cosmetic periodontal procedures.

Dr. Kolhatkar is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, Michigan Periodontal Association, and American Dental Educators Association.

Dr. Kollhatkar enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include embroidery and lacemaking.
